Blockli 1.1: build your app by chatting
Blockli 1.1 is our biggest release yet. Here’s what’s new in plugin versions 1.1.0 to 1.1.14.
The AI App Builder
Set up app pages and blocks, menus, settings, content, access, purchases and your BuddyBoss App migration by chatting with an AI assistant, with secure admin sign-in and a preview before every change. Read the guide.
Push notifications from WordPress
Preview, send and schedule pushes, edit scheduled ones, and see full delivery history.
In-app purchases
- Pick products directly from the App Store and Google Play.
- WishList Member X level unlocks and reusable consumable products.
- Refunds of consumable purchases affect only that purchase, and paid access is never removed early.
Sign-ins that last
App sign-ins now renew themselves and last 90 days without opening the app (previously 7). Changing a password signs out older sign-ins, while the device you changed it on stays signed in.
Access control
Default rules, category rules, more plugin conditions, BuddyBoss-compatible precedence, and rules for Blockli cards, podcasts and episodes. Access is enforced everywhere the app reads content, including navigation and media.
Blocks and migration
- The Blog Posts block gains category and tag filters, featured images, author avatars, comments and bookmarks.
- GIF search in the app using your BuddyBoss GIPHY key.
- Clearer migration previews, a downloadable diagnostics report, and cleaner imports of BuddyBoss App card and post blocks.
Full details are in the plugin changelog.
