Not getting push notifications? Start here
Work through these in order. Most problems are one of the first three.
- Credentials: your Firebase and APNs details are uploaded in Studio (see the iOS and Android credentials lessons).
- The app was built after the credentials were added. A build made before then cannot receive push.
- The device allowed notifications when the app asked. Check the phone’s notification settings for your app.
- The member hasn’t turned that type of notification off in the app’s notification settings.
- In WordPress, open Blockli → Push → History. Click the push to see each device it went to and the reason for any failure.
