  Before you submit: a store checklist

  A short checklist that saves a lot of back and forth with Apple and Google.

  App Store

  • Your App Store Connect API key is uploaded in Studio.
  • The app record exists in App Store Connect with the same bundle ID as your build.
  • The build shows Finished in Studio. Submit it, then test it in TestFlight before sending it for review.
  • If people can sign up, they can also delete their account in the app, and you have a way to report and block posts.
  • Apple usually reviews new apps in 1 to 3 days, and updates within a day.

  Google Play

  • Your Google Play service account file is uploaded in Studio.
  • The app exists in Google Play Console with the same package name.
  • For a brand new app, the very first release has to be uploaded by hand in Play Console. After that, Studio can upload for you.
  • Start on the Internal track (up to 100 testers), then promote the build.
